Trailmaster's Dana Mae
February 8, 1999  -  August 7, 2007

Mike and I brought home Dana when she was 6 weeks old
a little early but she was thriving.  She was our baby.  We
had been married 3 years and we didn't have any kids.
She was very smart.  She listened to me and would do
what I asked her to.  She went everywhere we went.
Theres nothing like lugging around a 60 pound bully.  She
slept in our bed.  She took care of the twins when we
brought them home from the hospital.  I miss watching
her watch tv.  She would sit on her bottom like a person.
It was the funniest thing ever.  I miss her so much.

I am importing pictures from disks and actual pictures so
it is taking me a while.  I will get them on here soon.

I didn't realize it would be so hard to get these pictures on
here.  Dana was my baby and even sitting her typing this I
have lost it.  Its like loosing a child or a parent.  I miss her
to the point that for the first few weeks I still called for her
when I was letting the dogs in or to let the outside.  The
girls and I talk about her all of the time.  They like looking
at her pictures.  They miss her even though they didn't
know her as Mike and I did.

The day before she died Dana played in the floor with our
newborn son.  She rolled around and she mouthed his
hands and his head.  You know how their extra skin on
their jowls.  He laughed because it tickled.  He won't
remember, but we do.
This is Sindi Miken better known as Ice.  She was imported from Hungary.  She had a few litters of
colored and white puppies. Her puppies can be seen in past puppies and Sue on the adults page is also
hers.   We lost Ice this summer (July 07).  She was a very loved dog and we will miss her very much.

This is Solo.  He was the last puppy out of Ice and
Chopper.  He was only a year old and went down hill fast.
My mom raised him because he was an only puppy.  She
bottle fed him from day one.  She took him to the vet to
have him checked and before they got the test results
back he was doing so bad the vet said they needed to put
him down.  Mom called and we talked and we didn't want
him to be in pain.  He was put to sleep with mom holding
him.  She took him home and buried him next to his mother.
Please try to call before 9:00pm CST.
